We have also conducted seminars for our clients and their insureds concerning legal developments and risk management steps designed to reduce the insureds’ potential exposure.
We have drafted a number of employment practices liability insurance policies for our clients, and we closely monitor developments that may warrant future revisions and endorsements. We also investigate claims against our clients’ insureds involving wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual and other harassment as well as other employment-related disputes. We also supervise local defense counsel in employment-related claims on a nationwide basis, participating actively in mediations and other settlement negotiations.
When coverage disputes cannot otherwise be resolved, we also represent our insurance clients in coverage litigation of employment practices liability claims. We have also been appointed by insurers as defense counsel for insureds in numerous employment-related actions.
