Jocelyn F. Cornbleet
Jocelyn Cornbleet practices in the area of commercial general liability insurance coverage, and specializes in environmental, asbestos, personal and advertising, and construction defect coverages and litigation. She also has represented reinsurers and retrocessionaires in various disputes. Ms. Cornbleet has practiced in state and federal court nationally, and has litigated numerous CGL lawsuits through the dispositive motion phase of litigation, achieving successful outcomes. She previously specialized in the area of environmental law.

Ms. Cornbleet has also been recognized by Illinois Super Lawyers® as a “Rising Star” in the area of Insurance Coverage for three consecutive years (2012-2015). She previously served as the Co-Chair for the Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyer Division’s Insurance Coverage Committee for two years, and also acted as a Special Project Coordinator for the Chicago Bar Association. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance.
Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandeis University, Waltham, Massachusetts (2001) with a certification in both legal and environmental studies.
J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law, Iowa City, Iowa (2004) where she was a Note and Comment editor on the Journal of Gender, Race & Justice.
Admitted to the Illinois Bar, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
